William Jones III

William Marbie Jones, III, 26, of Thatcher, Arizona, passed away on April 23, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.
William was born on July 14, 1998, in Safford, Arizona. He graduated from Thatcher High School, he wanted to walk across the stage at graduation and he accomplished just that!
William was known for his handsome looks and contagious smile. He had a passion for lifting weights, bikes (building & rebuilding them), music, stereo systems, fast, fun and loud outdoor vehicles. He will be remembered for always smiling, wearing his heart on his sleeve, having an outgoing personality, spontaneousness and a witty sense of humor!
William is survived by: his siblings; Whitney and children, Azaleena, Joaquín and Avendaño; Wesley and children, Armicio, Waylon, Lakelynn and Kingston; Winter, Amia, Carlos, Cayden and Cruz Jones; along with many other family members, especially those who were by his bedside in his last days.
William is preceded in death by: WillieMae Matlock.
A memorial graveside service will be conducted on Friday, May 2, 2025, at the Central Cemetery at 10:00 a.m., with a luncheon to follow, location will be announced at a later date. Family and friends are invited to join in William's Last Ride on Friday, May 2, 2025, at 9:30 a.m., traveling from the Vining Funeral Home to the Central Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vining Funeral Home in William's memory.
