William Dwight "Bill" Jones

William Dwight Jones, fondly known as "Barber Bill," passed away on November 16, 2025, at the age of 75. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, November 24, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Isanti VFW Post 2735. A burial service will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on December 9, 2025, at 11:30 a.m.

Bill will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

William "Barber Bill" Dwight Jones
May 22, 1950 – November 16, 2025

Though he lived in Stacy, Minnesota, his true home for the past 47 years was the St. Francis Barber Shop, where he greeted generations of customers with his easy smile, quick wit, and steady hands. Bill was a proud United States Marine, having bravely served in Vietnam. His service shaped the strength and grit that defined him throughout his life.

He leaves behind his daughters Rhonda Landborg, Billi Jo Larson, and Stacy Schmitz; grandsons Levi Landborg and Griffin Larson; his brothers Robert (Judy) Jones and Russell (Lynda) Jones; and his brother-in-law Harold Steenerson. He is also survived by his longtime partner, Vicki Ajax, who was a cherished part of his life. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Dwight and Dorothy Jones; his siblings Kathy Steenerson and Roger Jones; and his grandson Ryan Lowers.

He lived life with humor, boldness, and an unmistakable twinkle in his eye. Bill loved to gamble, play cribbage, and spend time hunting and fishing-usually with a good story to tell and a laugh ready to follow. He was larger than life.
