William “Bill” Julius Sr., age 79, passed away on November 28, 2025 surrounded by his family. He was born on November 7, 1946 in Neenah, the son of the late Frederick and LaVergne (Handler) Julius. He graduated from St. Mary High School in 1965. Bill served in the 101st Airborne Division of the US Army from 1966 to 1972. On November 22, 1969 he married Jane Zelinski at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Menasha. They were married for 56 years.

After his time in the service, Bill worked at Master Litho and George Banta Printing Co. for 30 years until his retirement.

Bill is survived by his wife Jane (Zelinski) Julius; sons: Bill (Kristin) Julius Jr of Middleton WI, and Brian (Jenny) Julius of Menasha. Grandchildren: Connor Julius, Charlotte NC, Erin Julius, St. Charles MO, Brendan Julius, Middleton WI, and Jay Julius, Menasha WI. Siblings Judy Brett, Bob (Pat) Julius, Mary (Wayne) Joas. Sister-in-law Lois Zelinski-Henkel, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jack Julius, and in-laws Robert and Catherine Zelinski.

Bill’s family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the team at St. Elizabeth Hospital.

A memorial service will take place on Monday December 22, 2025, at 11:00am at St John the Baptist Catholic Church, 516 DePere Street, Menasha. Friends and family may gather at the church from 9:00am until the service begins.

In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the UW Health Carbone Cancer Center or to St John the Baptist Renaissance Fund in Bill's name.
