Tom died Thanksgiving morning holding the hand of his wife of 58 years. For a lawyer he wasn't much of a talker but he sure was a doer. No project was too big from taking the roof off the kitchen to turning his wife's little fish pond into a full blown lake. He loved travel, photography, adventure and most of all his family. Actually, he loved Lobo basketball more than his family but I'm sure they were a close second. Tom turned every meal he cooked into a themed party and demonstrated how to tackle anything. Born in Silver City in 1943 and raised in Santa Fe where he lived for the rest of his life. His proudest professional moment was achieving the rank of Lieutenant Commander in the JAG corps while stationed in Subic Bay, Philippines. He leaves behind his wife Lynda, daughter Kristin Muchmore and husband Henry and their daughter Gwen, son Robert and wife Deena Buchanan and her kids Garrett and Carly, and his sister Joan Shrack. A celebration of life is planned for next year.
