William C. Kickery

1953 - 2023

William "Bill" Kickery, 69, of Pittsfield, passed away on January 16, 2023 at UAB hospital in Alabama surrounded by his family.

Bill was born on November 29, 1953 to Ruth Mancini in Pittsfield. He graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1973.

After graduation he worked for Berkshire Custom Coating for several years, followed by a brief period with General Electric. He then began a career in the Heating and Cooling industry working for Sweatland Pierce Harrison as a technician in 1987. He retired as Service Manager in late 2022 when the company closed.

Bill spent his time riding his Harley with friends, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was also a local musician and played in the band Cold Duck for many years.

Bill was predeceased by his former wife Joan Leslie Kickery, his son Shaun Kickery, and sister Ann Eggleston. He is survived by his two daughters Heather Powell, her husband Anthony Powell, Ashley Kickery, his three grandchildren Shawn Powell, Mikayla Powell, and Annabelle Gagnon, his great-granddaughter Lyric Powell, his mother Ruth Mancini, and his sister Rose Macchi.

There will be a private burial at the Pittsfield Cemetery on February 11, 2023 at noon. Please join us for a Celebration of Life at The Tavern A located at 303 Crane Ave., in Pittsfield on February 12, 2023 from 1-4pm.
