William Ronald Knickman

William Ronald Knickman, age 90, sadly passed away on January 22, 2026. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late William and Etta Knickman (nee French).

William was a devoted husband of 70 years to Jackie Knickman. He was a dedicated father to his four children and shared great experiences throughout their lives. He was a constant source of family entertainment, and he selflessly allowed himself to be the object of jokes and many stories.

William worked for Purex Corporation for several decades as a safety officer and personnel manager. He was a friend to all he encountered.

William is survived by his beloved wife Jackie Knickman; Charles Barry Knickman and daughter-in-law Denise, Lynda Knickman Pope, Bobbie Knickman, and Randy Knickman and daughter-in-law Helane; cherished grandfather of Jessica Knickman, Sherrie Knickman, Leigha Pope, Virginia Pope, Ashley Jones, Vincent Howlett, and Jackie Knickman; and caring great-grandfather of Bruce Leishear, Jr. William is also survived by many friends and extended family members. He was preceded in death by Bill, Gary (brothers), Lois, Annette, and Janet (sisters).

A public visitation will be held at Ambrose Funeral Home, 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Halethorpe, MD 21227 on Monday, February 2 from 11:00am-1:00pm and 3:00-5:00pm. A Funeral Service will begin at 4:00pm.
