January 21, 1943 - February 13, 2026

Of West Seneca, entered into rest February 13, 2026. Beloved husband of the late Mariann W. (nee Weindel) Kruger; devoted father of Suzanne (David) Drozdiel, Patricia (David) Mann, William Jr. (Jennifer) Kruger, the late Christine Kruger, and bonus-daughter Maureen Burke; cherished grandfather of Amanda, Michaela (Alex), Jessica, Steven, Katelynn, William III, Kelsey and Courtney; loving son of the late Walter and Mabel Kruger; dear brother of the late Flora Ann (late Sydney) London and the late Walter (late Mary Lou) Kruger and brother-in-law of the late Tonia Kruger; also survived by nieces and nephews. 

Mr. Kruger was a proud US Navy Veteran. He was also a strong man of faith. 

A special thank you to the Buffalo VA Medical Center, especially the staff and nurses aides on 9B for their support and care for our father during his time there.

Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave. on Friday (February 20) from 3-7PM. A Mass of Christian Burial with military honors will be celebrated at Fourteen Holy Helpers Church, 1345 Indian Church Rd., West Seneca on Saturday morning at 10AM. Please assemble at Church. A private interment will be held at WNY National Cemetery in Corfu, NY at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in William's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
