I knew Bill from through his connection with My Brother's Keeper. i remember Bill bringing in bags of candy to keep the Christmas van drivers refreshed. His generosity in procuring over thirty new refrigerators for distribution to the needy. And, the hours of dedication to help the ministry of MBK to grow. Here are a few picturesfrom the golf tourneys he set up. . .

Ta muid an brónach as bás Bill. Our sincere sympathies to Julie, Sharon, Donna, Billy, Shawn and all the family. We were fortunate to enjoy Bill's friendship over many decades on both sides of the Atlantic. It was a joy to meet Bill, we were always guaranteed to have both fun and laughter in his company. When we visited Dedham we were the lucky recipients of the well known Lane/Foley boundless hospitality. Bill had both a special welcoming and inquisitive nature. On his many Irish visits, family was the first item for discussion and then Irish history, events and places. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.

I´m very sorry for your loss. I was deeply saddened to hear of Bill´s passing.

I have very fond memories of Bill from working for his company back in 1998 and 2000, and also from staying in the family home in 2000 for four months. We had some great evenings and meals out together - always laughing, with Bill telling funny stories. He was a truly inspiring and kind man, and I feel lucky to have known him.

Thinking of you all at this very difficult time.
