Obituary of William F. Lang Sr.

William F. Lang Sr., age 82, of Wilmington, DE passed away on January 1st, 2026, at St. Francis Hospital. Raised in the Kensington area of Philadelphia, he has been a 48 year resident of N. Wilmington, DE.

He served his country in the United States Navy as an Air Traffic Controller. He later received his Master's degree in Finance from St. Joseph University. He went on to have a career in Finance for many years. He is devoted to his Catholic faith and a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary, Wilmington, DE. Bill had many hobbies; he enjoyed snow skiing and was skilled in target practice and a member of Target Master. He also was a member of the NRA. An avid Philadelphia sports fan, he was a supporter of the Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers.

In addition to his parents, Frederick and Catherine Mullen Lang, he is preceded in death by his sister, Betty Ann Jadach, and his former wife, Joanne Lang-Szymanski. Bill is survived by his 2 children, Bill F. Lang Jr., and Renee Reasons, and 6 grandchildren, Billy, Cap, and Kristen Lang, and Kyle, Kayla, and Kaitlyn Reasons.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 15th, from 9-10 AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 10 AM. Interment will remain private at All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any memorial contributions be made via Zelle to Renee Reasons 3028971336
