William Lashoff Obituary
EAST GREENBUSH - William "Bill" K. Lashoff Jr, 95, passed away Monday, December 1, 2025, at St. Peters Hospice.
William was born in Albany, N.Y., the son of William K. Lashoff Sr. and Josephine ( Schwartz ) Lashoff.
William's interests were gardening, enjoying the company of friends and family and a good meal.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a member of Melvin Roads American Legion.
William retired from the Town of East Greenbush after many years.
Survivors include two sons, Robert (Susan) Lashoff and Thomas (Jeanette) Lashoff; three grandsons, Matthew (Kristin)Lashoff, Brian (Nicolina) Lashoff, Ryan Lashoff; and four great-grandchildren, Ryder, Lyla, Kayden and Maeve Lashoff; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Bill was predeceased by his wife, Shirley T. (Morris) Lashoff; two brothers, George and John Lashoff; and a sister, Marie Hisgin.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to so many friends and family as well staff at Teresian House Home for Elderly, and St. Peter's Hospice, for their compassionate care and devotion to Bill.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his calling hours at the Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home. 165 Columbia Tpk., Rensselaer, N.Y. 12144, from 4 to 6 p.m., on Monday, December 8, and Mass at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 9, at the Church of St Mary, at Clinton Heights.
Contributions in William's memory may be made to Teresian House Family Council, or Community Hospice, 310 S. Manning Blvd., Albany, 12208.
