William Lecorchick, Jr., 71, of Spotswood passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at his home.
Born in Steubenville, Ohio, Bill was raised in Albany, New York before settling in Spotswood in 1979. Bill served honorably in the United States Army as a Special Forces Green Beret Paratrooper during the Vietnam era. An innovator in the construction field, he was a master carpenter and owner of Legends Home Improvements of East Brunswick for many years and a member of the North American Deck and Rail Association. Bill was active in his community as a member of the Middlesex County Rotary Club and the Immaculate Conception Knights of Columbus Council 4907 in addition to being a Communicant of Immaculate Conception Church. He was also a loving husband and father and a doting Pop-Pop to his 10 beloved grandchildren.
Predeceased by his father William Lecorchick, Sr. and his brother Dennis Lecorchick, he is survived by his wife of 49 years Nadine Lecorchick; his children William Lecorchick, III and his wife Monica, Thomas Lecorchick and his wife Keri, Kevin Lecorchick and his partner Adriana Lopez, Katrina Larsen and her husband Thomas and Christine Lecorchick and her partner Tim O'Brien; his mother Elvira Lecorchick; his siblings Karen Falzo and Paul Lecorchick, and; his grandchildren Kyle, Shealyn, Zack, Corinne, Nick, Griffin, Devyn, Tommy, Morgan and Joey.
Funeral services will begin with a 10:30 Mass of Christian Burial from Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood, on Monday, March 21st, followed by interment in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 20th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations honoring Bill's memory may be made to the Jillybean Foundation, a non profit organization that raises funds to help women and families affected by breast cancer.
