William “Jackson” Lennon III, 18, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, May 5, 2025. Born on October 4, 2006, Jackson was a gentle spirit whose warmth and kindness touched everyone around him.

Jackson dedicated his young life to service and learning. With a quick wit and a studious nature, he found joy in both his academic pursuits and his deep faith, as he cherished reading the Bible and attending youth group at Harvest Baptist Church and Kinnett Memorial Baptist Church. He enjoyed working alongside his family as an inventory assistant at the Cox, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep & Ram Dealership, where his authentic and caring personality shone through every interaction.

He was a sweet soul who was exceptionally loving towards children, those in need and his grandparents—now reunited with them in eternity. Jackson's compassion extended to his community, as he devoted time volunteering at the Bread of Life Food Pantry at Harvest Baptist Church and with Operation Christmas Child. He had a special bond with his cats, particularly a beloved feline named Chase. He loved to visit his Aunt Kelli to mow her yard and beat her in Connect 4. He found immense joy in the treasured moments spent with his family and cousins, Brayden and Madison, who lovingly referred to him as the "best cousin ever."

Jackson is survived by his devoted parents, William “Bill” Jackson Lennon, Jr. and Rebecca Kathryn Cox Lennon, and his adoring siblings, Rachel Kathryn Lennon and Caleb Lee Lennon. He also leaves behind his loving aunts and uncles, Deanna Cox-Moore and husband Chris, Kelli Elaine Lennon, Elisabeth Cox and husband Rusty, and cherished cousins, Madison Moore, Brayden Moore, Adam Cox, and Emily Cox. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: William Jackson “Jack” Lennon, Sr. and Mary Chambers Lennon as well as Donald “Don” Lee Cox and Rachel Berrier Cox.

A funeral service to celebrate Jackson’s life will be held at 10:00 in the morning on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 in the chapel at Lowe Funeral with the burial to follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00PM on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at the funeral home as well.

In lieu of flowers the families heartfelt request is that that memorials be made in Jackson’s honor to Harvest Baptist Church youth fund, the Kinnett Memorial Baptist youth fund or Operation Christmas Child; https://www.samaritanspurse.org/what-we-do/operation-christmas-child/.

The service will be livestreamed for those who are not able to attend.
