Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Paul Ippolito Summit Memorial, 7 Summit Ave. on Friday, March 25th from 4:30-6 PM. Interment is private. For information or if you cannot attend the visitation kindly send the family a message by visiting www.ippolitofuneralhomes.com.
William was born and raised in Summit, NJ to Catherine (nee Hawkins) and George T. MacAdam.
Billy was the Captain of the Summit Auxiliary Police Department and part of the auxiliary police force since 1999. He received the 2014 commendation town council award for volunteering over 4,000 hours in Summit.
William is survived by his brothers, George MacAdam, David (Jayne) MacAdam and twin brother Doug (Lisa) MacAdam; his niece Lindsay (Mak), his nephews, Bobby (Nicole), Austin (Chrischel), Ryan and his great nephews, Bobby Jr., and Joey. He was predeceased by his parents Catherine and George T. MacAdam.

I worked with Billy for years at SMG, and was friends with him prior at the Summit Boys Club. We hung out several times. He had a heart of gold!
