February 7, 2021.....I still have many examples of Bill Marsalkos' WW1 aviation works of art. They help me to remember what a great guy he was. I always appreciated the time he gave me when I had the opportunity to visit with him in Cleveland. He's probably up there in heaven enjoying life painting WW1 Angels ! To the Marsalko Family:
Only today, Sept. 26,2012, did I learn of the passing of your Dad. My deepest heartfelt sympathy. I was a customer of his WW1 aviation art. I visited him in Cleveland a time or two and at the USAF Museum in Dayton where he displayed his work. He was always so generous with his time and knowledge. I gave him a replica of a WW1 Grey German Aviation Officers cap that you might have found in the many things he left behind. I'm very happy to be able to remember him with art he created. He really had a feel for that work. May he rest in peace.
