To the family of Bill Matwijiw: I am so sorry about the loss of your dear Bill; wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. I enjoyed talking with him often after 4:00 Mass on Saturdays. He was a very nice, kind, and caring person! Bill really loved your mother; he sometimes got emotional when I asked about her. You could see he was very devoted to her. He and my late father, Evo Francescangeli, were friends, and Bill kindly came over to visit with my dad in the early spring of 17, while my dad was ill at home a couple of months before he passed. Bill's visit really raised my dad's spirits, and I'll never forget his kindness. Hold all those beautiful memories with Bill close to your heart. God has wrapped His arms around him in Paradise. I will truly miss your Dad's Booming Voice in the Neighborhood. My Deepest sympathies to all the family at the loss of your Dad. I was amazed at how your Dad kept himself so vibrant an strong over the years .. I did notice him slowing down but was still keeping active. His influence in my life will not be forgotten. May the Lord Welcome him into Heaven.
