William McBride Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by McLin Funeral Home and Cremation Service on Dec. 30, 2025.
William "Bill" McBride, 77, was born on June 21, 1948, to the late Ruth McBride and John D. McBride in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He left this earth in the arms of his loving family on December 27, 2025. He retired from Allometrics, Inc. Bill's life was full of love and laughter and the scenic route. He never thought that he would have children or grandchildren until he met his wife and gained 3 daughters, which led to 6 grandchildren that then led to 7 great-grandchildren, not to mention his notorious status as "Uncle Bill" to more people than we could count.

Bill could best be described as compassionate, generous, and sharp-traits that will be missed by everyone who ever met him.

He is survived in death by his devoted wife of 33 years, Rebecca "Becky" Louise McBride; his brothers Richard "Dick" McBride (Renetta); Robert "Bob" McBride; and sister Joan Denne (Steve); his daughters Nigina Fowler (Steve); Anita Miller (Terry); Summer Hull (Steven); his grandchildren Trevor Miller; AshLynn Dardar (Zachary); Maranda Miller; William Hull (Alexa); McKinzey Fowler; Hannah Fowler; and his great grandchildren Mason; Aiyuana; Daegan; Alayna; Charlotte; Astrid; and another on the way; his family by choice Mike, Gloria, Michael, Jamie, Christian, Madison, and Christopher Tyszkiewicz; Theresa Wheelis, Jordan, Caroline, Collen Courtney; Jo Ann (Jeff) Jake (Hailey) Eleanor Reynolds.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend his memorial service on Friday, January 2, 2026, at 11:00 AM, located at 10494 Florida Blvd, Walker, LA 70785.

Arrangements have been entrusted to McLin Funeral Home. Online condolences may be shared at www.mclinfuneralhome.com
