William Hanna "Bill" McCauley, Jr., 76, of Holton, KS, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka, KS, with family by his side. He was born September 30, 1949 in Mayetta, KS, the son of William Hanna McCauley, Sr. and Betty Jane (Sinda) McCauley.

Bill graduated from Ridgewood High School in 1966 at Norridge, IL. He lived in Chicago, IL from 1963 - 1988 and Aurora and Golden CO for 18 years, before moving back to Mayetta.

He was a sales manager for the beverage industry for over 25 years, worked for Titan Industries for 10 years and most currently worked at Western Hydro for Mike Yeager with the Wichita office. He also sold cars, worked for Cecil K's, Heartland Meat Market and 75 Liquor Store (for Jim and Wendy).

Bill married the late Mary Ann Marchisotta in 1967, they later divorced.

He married Sue Lynn Schwolow on January 30, 1977 in Las Vegas, NV. They celebrated over 48 years of marriage.

Survivors include his wife, Sue of Holton; son, Kevin P. McCauley (Ivonne) of Vernon Hills, IL; daughter, Bridget E. Marchese (Michael) of Westminster, CO; 2 sisters, Kathleen Lundgren of Plainfield, IL and JoAnn Donnelly (Lou) of Littleton, CO; aunts Phyllis Lauer (Donald) of Libertyville, IL and Sharon Lewan (Larry) of Oshkosh, WI. Last but not least he and Sue's dog, Fluffy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Betty McCauley; 2 brothers, Michael and Patrick McCauley and his beloved dog, Tippy.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 25, 2025 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Visitation will be held from 10-11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 25, at the Mercer Funeral Home. A private family inurnment will be at a later date. Memorials may be given to Mercer Funeral Home to help with expenses c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
