"All Is Well"
by Henry Scott Holland
Death is nothing at all, I have only slipped into the next room I am I and you are you Whatever we were to each other, that we are still. Call me by my old familiar name, Speak to me in the easy way which you always used Put no difference in your tone, Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was, Let it be spoken without effect, without the trace of shadow on it. Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was, there is unbroken continuity. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, Just around the corner. All is well.
William "Billy" E. Medlin was born on December 12, 1965. On February 3, 2024, Billy gracefully passed away. He was from Little Rock, SC in Dillon County.
He loved to be around people and never met a stranger. Billy always had a smile on his face and called everyone his friend. He was a people lover and wanted to be around everyone. Mountain Dew and sweets always made him happy. A fist bump would be waiting for you every time he saw you as it was his way of greeting you.
His parents preceded him many years earlier.
He left behind his siblings and cousins, Lee Owens (Cecilia), Carl Owens (Jill), Mark Owens, Eric, Valerie, Stephanie, Jason and many nieces and nephews, along very close family friend Willie "Yogi" Jackson.
A private memorial service dedicated to celebrating the life of Billy will be held in Dillon SC on March 3, 2024. For further information, you can reach out to the family.
