WILLIAM D. MILLER SR. (BILL)
Our loving husband and father passed away peacefully on August 26, 2024.
Bill owned West Home Improvements, a construction company, for most of his career. In addition to being an excellent carpenter, he was especially gifted in the construction of fireplaces and cabinetry.
Bill was a people person and never missed an opportunity to entertain, whether it was playing music, holding court daily at his beloved Whataburger or sharing his life experiences with anyone who would listen.
In addition to spending time with Joan, the love of his life, he enjoyed working in the yard, doing home repairs to the beautiful house he built and watching the Cowboys play on Sunday. We will miss him greatly.
He is preceded in death by his parents Jewell Palmer and Charles Thomas Miller, son Wade Miller, daughter and son-in-law Leanne and James Thompson, sisters Kathleen St Amand and Victoria Francis and brother Charles Ferdinand Miller.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years Joan, sons William Miller Jr. (Letty), and Bryan Miller (Veronica), daughters Cindolyn Flagg (Neal), Corliss Boettcher (Kevin) and Lucinda Landreth (Kevin) and by his sister Jewell Ordway as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Services will be held at Sunset Funeral Home at 4631 Hondo Pass on Thursday September 26th at 2:00 pm.
