William Francis Morgan Jr.

William Francis Morgan Jr. "Frank", age 80, of Hudson, Ohio, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 15, 2026. Frank was born on July 30, 1945, to the late William F. and Frances (née Rice) Morgan.

Originally from Summit, NJ, Frank grew up playing every sport he could get his hands on: hockey, tennis, paddle tennis, skiing, skating, golf, and soccer. After graduating from high school, he attended Bowdoin College, where he played hockey with the Polar Bears and raised hell with his campus fraternity, Alpha Delta Phi; served in the U.S. Navy, achieving the rank of Lieutenant; married his young wife Ann; and earned an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan. He then embarked on a career in business, most notably serving as a tax partner for Price Waterhouse Coopers in the Philadelphia, Bridgeport, and Stamford offices. In the midst of this Ann and Frank found time to raise their three daughters, of whom he was always exceedingly proud. In retirement Frank served on the boards of Aspetuck Country Club and Harbour Ridge Yacht and Country Club, he was an avid golfer who hit eight holes-in-one over the course of his life, and he spent many happy days sailing and relaxing at the family's summer home in Cedarville, Michigan. He loved dogs, country music, skiing with family, wearing baseball hats, and a good laugh - and he will be missed every day.

Frank is survived by his beloved wife Ann Morgan (née Early); loving daughters Sara (Oliver) Truog, Lindsay (Jeff) Sirak, and Robin (Jason) Ruch; treasured grandchildren Daniel Truog, Nina Truog, William Sirak, Courtney Sirak, and Christopher Ruch; dear brother Richard (Barbara) Morgan and sister-in-law Jinnie Adams; cherished nephews and niece Scott Morgan, Richard Morgan, and Amy Adams; his "brother from another mother", JJ (Ellen) Harris; and his many dear friends in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Arizona, Florida, Ohio and Michigan, who meant the world to him.

A memorial service to celebrate Frank's life will be held on Saturday, February 21 at 3:30pm at the Serenity Chapel at Laurel Lake, 200 Laurel Lake Drive, Hudson, OH, followed by a private reception. A livestream will be available; check back here for a link on the day of the service.
