William Morosko Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Riverview Funeral Home - Shelton on Mar. 29, 2026.
William "Bill" Morosko, 73, of Shelton, loving husband of Susan Morosko, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 28, 2026 surrounded by his family.

Bill attended Emmett O'Brien Technical High School. He was a member of the schools 1st graduating class and served as the schools 1st Class President, as well as participating on the track team. Bill became a journeyman in his career as a machinist. He was so proud to have his son, a granddaughter, & two grandsons attend his alma mater.

He enjoyed the solitude of trout fishing in a stream, fixing family cars, fireworks, parades, bird watching and telling jokes. He especially took pride in maintaining a perfectly manicured lawn of his and Susan's home.

He was a true patriot with a deep interest in politics & world affairs. Bill was a dedicated New York Giants fan. He thoroughly enjoyed watching their games with family members & collecting all kinds of memorabilia. He loved telling the story of going to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA, where the Giants won Super Bowl XXl in 1987.

Bill had an unbreakable and devoted bond with his wife, who he lovingly called his Sweety. He was a dedicated father and step-father, having tremendous pride in all his children: Billie, and her wife Kelly, Jennifer, and her husband Shane, step-father to Shanna, and her husband Mike, Melissa, and her husband Sean, & Kyle, and his wife Anna. He and Susan are blessed to be grandparents to 14 grandchildren ( and twin grandchildren who pre-deceased him ).

One of the greatest joys in his life was being a father & sharing a friendship with his son, Brian, who sadly pre-deceased him.

He adored his late parents Julian & Jennie and had wonderful memories throughout his life spent with his siblings, Janice, Cathy, Linda, Ron, & his predeceased siblings; his brother Butch, and his twin sister Nancy. There are many in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends who will miss him dearly.

Arrangements for Bill are in the care of Riverview Funeral Home in Shelton. His funeral services are to be private. In lieu of flowers please send donations in Bill's memory to the American Lung Association.
