William Albert Mosby, 71, of Ginger Blue, Missouri, passed away on November 10, 2025.

Born on June 24, 1954, in Anderson, Missouri, William was the son of Malcolm and Edith Mosby. He spent the first part of his working life as a master carpenter. In his mid-forties, he changed careers and became a computer technician for several years. Later, he and his wife remodeled their home into a bed and breakfast, and he took great joy in welcoming guests as an innkeeper. Throughout his life, William also served as a lay minister, including a brief time pastoring a church, and he was always willing to step in and serve wherever he was needed.

William took great pride in his work, his home, and most of all, his family. He was a musician who loved playing the guitar, and he enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially hunting.

To his family, he was a devoted husband, Dad, and Papa. In Lynn's words, he was "the most devoted husband anyone could ask for," often putting her well-being, even her health, above his own. He will be remembered for his steady presence, his quiet humor, and his unwavering example of faith in his Lord Jesus Christ.

William is survived by his wife of 50 years, Lynn Mosby; his sister, Cheryl Mosby; his daughter, Casey (Tim) Anderson; his son, Caleb Mosby; his son, Colby (Jennifer) Mosby; grandchildren Victoria Anderson, Julia Robinson, Alana Mosby, and Josiah Mosby; and great-grandchildren Theren, Atticus, and Guinevere.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Albert and Adeline Mosby; his maternal grandparents, Jonas and Margaret Hix; his parents, Malcolm and Edith Mosby; and his in-laws, Curtis and Betty Latty.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are being directed to the Lanagan Cemetery c/o the funeral home.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 4:00 p.m., followed by a service at 6:00 p.m., at Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri.
