He was like a dad to me. He got up early and helped me learn the alphabet back in the day. I had a lot of fun with Willy between camping trips to Red Feather Lake and canoe trips on the Platte River. Road trips and plenty of time doing crafts, playing sports, visiting parks, swimming, watching him play softball. He was very knowledgeable and had a variety of life experiences for anybody who wanted to know. If you were looking for an outdoors guy, he was it! He was also artistically talented and an excellent cook. Will always remember his Christmas ham and sense of humor! Always missed and loved!
