William “Bill” Murray, 70, of Oil City, PA, passed away on December 19, 2025.
Bill was born on January 6, 1955, in Oil City, PA, to the late Richard and Kathleen Murray. He was a 1973 graduate of Oil City High School.
Bill is survived by his son, Christopher Murray, and his three beloved grandchildren, Madison, Hannah, and Brianna Murray, all of Bradford, PA. He is also survived by his siblings, Ann Nieves (husband, Omar) of Altamonte Springs, FL, and Patrick Murray (wife, Carrie) of Oil City, PA.
He is remembered by his nieces and nephews: Annamarie Nieves of Altamonte Springs, FL; Alek Tovar and Elsa Tovar, both of Oil City, PA; Andrew Harbaugh of Clarion, PA; and Abigail Harbaugh of Slippery Rock, PA.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Murray, of Oil City, PA.
Bill was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins. In his earlier years, he proudly served as a volunteer fireman for Cornplanter Township. During his working years, Bill was employed by Intelcon while living in Naples, Florida, and later worked for North American Van Lines and a lumber mill while residing in Colorado.
The family will be holding a private service at a later date.
