William H. Muse, 83, of East Moline, Illinois, passed away Friday, March 27, 2026, at home.
A gathering to celebrate Bill’s life will be announced at a later date. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
William Harlan Muse was born January 9, 1943, in Moline, the son of William and Ruby Muse. He was a licensed engineer for most of his career.
He married the love of his life, Diane Stelter, on October 28, 2015, in East Moline. The couple lived the Native American lifestyle and shared many happy memories in their time together. When not spending time with his wife, Bill’s favorite thing to do was go fishing.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Diane; his children, Larry Tate of Hawaii, and Lonna Jones and Danny Jones, of Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri; grandsons, Morgan and Bryce; and sisters, Ruby Mae Helland and Janet Griffith. He was preceded in death by his parents.
