Thinking of the guy with the biggest heart today. I love you Big Guy.

When I was a kid, I sometimes would join my older brother and some of his friends walking to wherever we were walking. Like most older brothers, Fred (3 1/2 years older than I), didn't seem to like me tagging along. I remember one day, I was walking along behind everyone else, and Billie dropped back to join me. I remember him putting his arm around my shoulder and talking to me, I don't remember what about, but he was back there with me and talking to me. It probably doesn't seem like much, but I never ever forgot. As time passed I only saw him a few times (once in leather on his motorcycle) and not too long ago at one of the gatherings of my brother and old friends at The Chateau in Waltham. I remember I couldn't wait to see him. Whenever I talked to my brother on the phone (I'm in South Carolina now) he would always give me an update on Billie. Then on one call he told me that Billie had passed away. It saddened me, of course, but once again there I was many years ago, walking and talking with Billie, my hero. My sincere condolences to Billie's family and friends. God bless.

He was such a character, he got me my first and Best job ever! Working for Pittorio brothers.
Beside that he was a friend forever!
I will miss him so much; as a character a friend and almost relative Thur marriage.
