Reverend William Norman

Reverend William Norman, 80, of Dyersburg, died Monday, September 22, 2025, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis. Born April 13, 1945, he was preceded in death by his parents, Guy Norman and Deley Turnbo Norman Needham. He was the Pastor at Middle City Church of Jesus Christ for 43 years. Saved when he was 10 years old, he was faithful and loyal and was a student of the Word. He was a member of Newbern Church of Jesus Christ. Brother Norman enjoyed yard work for himself and others.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 26, 2025, in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Reverend Nathan McCormack and Reverend Ben James with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 25th from 5:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Tim "Chico" Miller, Dennis PJ Miller, William Turnbo, John Turnbo, Jimmy Turnbo and Timmy Turnbo will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Billy Turnbo.
He is survived by his daughter Judith Norman Pulliam and husband, Mark, of Granite City, IL; his sister, Nora Pfeifer of Collierville; his brother, James Norman (Jackie) of Dyersburg; his bonus granddaughter, Sierra Alexander; three step-grandchildren; and one step-great-granddaughter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Bonnie Kay Miller Norman; his daughter, Rhonda Norman; three sisters, Mary Chrisman, Martha McClure, Lucy James; and one brother, J.W. Norman.
