Born in Greenville County, a son of the late Gassaway and Dovis Payton Oliver, he was a retired employee of Shedds Foods. Surviving are his wife, Phyllis Cook Oliver, a brother: Joe Larry King; deceased child: William H. Services will be held 2 pm Friday in St. Anthony's of Padua Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park, Piedmont.
