WILLIAM OLIVER GREENVILLE, SC William Oliver, 82, of Greenville, died Saturday, April 13, 2013. Born in Greenville County, a son of the late Gassaway and Dovis Payton Oliver, he was a retired employee of Shedds Foods. Surviving are his wife, Phyllis Cook Oliver, a brother: Joe Larry King; deceased child: William H. (Tootabug) Oliver; surviving children, Arethel (Penny) Oliver – Greenville, SC, Dovis (Debbie) Oliver (Harry) – Greenville, SC, Annie (Kitty) Oliver – Greenville, SC, Gail Griffin – Greenville, SC, Waymond (Fuzzy) Oliver – Greenville, SC, William (Jug) Oliver (San) - Suffolk,VA, Rosa Maria (Pinky) Bellamy - Columbia SC; 21 Grandchildren: Trice Grove (Vincent) - Warterloo, Iowa, Bridgette Sullivan (Santos) - Greenville SC, Alan Oliver (Tanya) - Charlotte NC, Damion Oliver - Columbia SC, Jeffrey Oliver (Ruthie) - Raleigh NC, Chastity Jones (Jazzez) - Suffolk VA, John Glenn - Greenville SC, Benika Young - Greenville SC, William-Wesley Ross Oliver (Sabrina) - Long Island NY, Kayla Promise (Khiaro) - Camarillo, CA, Michael Thomas Jr. - Atlanta GA, Johnette Alcorn - Greenville SC, Innika Chambers of Greenville SC, Phillip Griffin - Greenville SC, Blair Bellamy - Columbia SC, Ashlee Griffin - Greenville SC, Paulette Owens, Leonard Davis, Curtis Davis, Robin Ray, Ronnie Davis, (The Baby Girl) Kristina Griffin - Greenville SC. His legacy continues with a host of great grandchildren; deceased siblings: Elijah (L.B.) Oliver, Edward (E.D.) Oliver, Louis (Pap) Oliver, Beatrice Morrison, Ruth Oliver, Sally Oliver. Services will be held 2 pm Friday in St. Anthony's of Padua Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park, Piedmont. Visitation will be 6 -8 pm Thursday at Mackey Mortuary, 311 Century Drive, Greenville, SC 29607. Condolences may be made on line at www.mackeymortuary.com.
