William Patrick "Pat" Osborne

William Patrick Osborne, affectionately known as Pat, entered the pearly gates on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at the age of 76. Pat was born in Middletown, NY, in 1950 to William "Hack" Osborne and Kathryn Finnegan Osborne.

A proud Eagle, he attended Burke Catholic and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Manhattan College, finishing first in his class. GO JASPERS! Following his undergraduate achievements, Pat was awarded a graduate assistantship at S.U.N.Y. Cortland, where he earned a master's degree in health education. Pat was also very proud to be a "Friend of Bill" He was employed by the City of Middletown and was supervisor in the Water Meter Department. Pat dedicated 10 years as the President of CSEA Local 836 and was a 50+ honorary member and past President of Excelsior Hook and Ladder Co. He also served as Director of the Middletown Youth Soccer League and coached many of his children's youth teams.

Known for his warmth and friendliness, Pat never met a stranger. If you were behind him in line at Shop Rite, First Federal, Tom's Market or Amber's Sub Shop… you know what we kids are talking about. If the story started with, "Remember when we…." You were in for a treat or a long wait.

He is survived by Mary Osborne, his children, Heather Conklin, (Ryan), Casey Webb, (Jason), Sean Osborne and Kyle Osborne. He was a devoted Poppy to his grandchildren, Aidan Conklin, Chase Webb, Kurt Webb and Keira Conklin. He is also survived by the best siblings, they might fuss at each other hard, but they love each other harder. Jim Osborne, Kathy Osborne, Larry Osborne, Anne Walters, Sue Sanchez, Chris Osborne, Eileen Osborne, Liz Randolph and Mark Osborne. He was predeceased by William "Hack" Osborne, Kathryn Finnegan Osborne, brother Daniel Osborne Sr. and nephew Joseph Sanchez. Despite being a Giants fan, Pat never missed an opportunity to join in a J-E-T-S chant with Joey.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 22nd, at Martinez-Morse Funeral Home, Middletown, NY, from 2-4pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Pat's name to The Parkinson's Foundation, Suite 1530, New York, NY 10018. The family acknowledges the difficulty of speaking about Pat in the past tense, as he remains ever-present in their hearts.
