William Ozee Obituary

Published by Legacy on Feb. 11, 2025.
SAGINAW - William Mark Ozee of blessed memory, known to friends and family as Mark, passed away on January 27, 2025, at the age of 68.
He will be celebrated at services in both Oklahoma City and Fort Worth.
Funeral Service: 2:30 PM Saturday, February 15, 2025 in Live Oak Chapel, 3100 White Settlement Road, Fort Worth, TX 76107. Entombment: Greenwood Mausoleum.
Visitation: 5:00 - 7:00 PM Friday, February 14, 2025 at Greenwood Funeral Home in Memorial Suite B, 3344 White Settlement Road, Fort Worth, TX 76107.
Mark graduated from Carter Riverside High School, class of 1975. He was the youngest of 4 brothers born to parents who married shortly after WWII. He met his beloved wife Wanda (whom he called Sunshine) while working at Tandy/Radio Shack in 1976 and the two married in March of 1977. They shared nearly 48 years together. They had one child, Sean in 1979. Mark was known as a diligent worker, a loving husband and father, and a friend to any who needed one. He worked at Consolidated Freightways until 2002 after which he worked until his retirement at Roadway. He was also a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. After retirement he worked for Tarrant County Precinct 4 until he fully retired. He also volunteered at Mission Central and had recently worked at Dickies Arena shuttling employees.
Mark's family was his reason for living, and his whole world. He extended his love to those unrelated whom he considered family. His memory will be cherished by those who worked with him, those who volunteered with him, those who played softball with him, those who went to school with him, and the family members who will forever carry on his legacy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Doris and Jack Ozee of Fort Worth; and brothers Danny and Steve Ozee.
Mark is survived by his wife of 48 years, Wanda Ozee of Saginaw; his son, Sean of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Bret and Jessica Ozee of Oklahoma City; bonus grandchildren, Tosch and Marissa Woods of Fort Worth; brother, Craig Ozee of Fort Worth; nephew, Charles Hughes; and nieces, Summer Ozee and Christina Norman all of Fort Worth; as well as grand nieces, grand nephews, and a multitude of friends and loved ones.
The family has asked for donations in his name be made to CASA of Tarrant County. Their webpage can be found here. https://www.speakupforachild.org/donate
