Anna Maria, Florida - On Saturday, December 7th, our beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Brother, William "Corky" Parker, age 68, lost his battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family.
Corky was born and raised in Bradenton, spending his adult life raising his family on Anna Maria Island. He loved sports, the outdoors, and spending time around the water with his family.
To his family and friends to say he was "one of a kind," doesn't scratch the surface of what a special man he was. He will be so missed by those who love him, but no one is ever really gone when you carry them in your heart every day.
He is preceded in death by his Father, Ray Parker, his mother, Yolanda Parker, and his nephew, Nick Ibasfalean. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Brenda Parker, two loving children, Brittany Moore (Austin), and Chase Parker (Tierney Green), his granddaughter, Summer Moore, three sisters, Debbie Ibasfalean (Nick), Sue Clark (Dave), Patti Johnson, as well as many nieces and nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews.
Corky will be forever loved and missed.

I was sad to hear of the passing of Corky Parker. I remember him from high school where he was a player on the basketball team. He was one of a kind. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.
