John, my condolences to you on the loss of your Dad. I've known Bill & Sue for as long as I've been in the Boat Club. They've done a lot of work for our Club and were such fun to be around. Hold tight to your memories of your fine parents and know you were their world.

John,
I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Peacock's passing, he was a wonderful neighbor and friend to our family. We missed visiting him daily at the fence and in his garden after our move. We were blessed to know him and Miss Sue. They were wonderful and loving neighbors. We send our prayers to you with our deepest sympathy.

I worked with William starting in 1981 until he retired. He was always pleasant to work with and was very good technician. He later became a supervisor and was well respected and liked by all of his staff. I remember him as Scratch Peacock, I was told it was a nickname that he was called from his younger age after he cut his hand and stated that it was only a scratch. I will always remember the years that we worked together and would like to let John know that he had a fine father and I am sorry for his loss.

Mr. Peacock will definitely be missed by me and my family , and especially my son Branson. We will always remember him being my Grandmas sweet neighbor across the street and her friend. We will miss all his funny stories and jokes and his love of sharing all his snacks (oatmeal pies) with my son. He would always bring over fresh picked scuplins all season that he would pick from his yard to share with my grandma and me. He would pick way more than we could ever keep up to eat before he was bringing more :) He was such a sweet caring man, and I loved how he always kept an eye out for his friend , my grandma whom he nicknamed "Tator" . We are so sorry to hear about Mr. Peacocks passing and keeping his son John in our thoughts and prayers . Love, The Shugarts and Joesphine Usher "Tator"
