William Pendergrast, 81, of Burnsville, Mississippi, died on Monday, May 19, 2025, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. William was known for his love of God, his family, and working. He was an incredibly hard worker, and whether he was spending time with his loved ones or tending to his garden, he always stayed busy. William is survived by his daughter, Kristy Barnes (Tim); his grandchildren, Brittany Thomas (Mason), Nathan Barnes, Ryan Pendergrast (Lauren), MaKaden Capers (Jake), and Brayden Kayse Barnes; his great-grandchildren, Luna Grace Pendergrast, Freya Rena Pendergrast, and Scarlette Katherine Thomas; his siblings, Harvey Pendergrast, Nolan Pendergrast (Connie), and Elizabeth Reed; and a host of other loved family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joyce Pendergrast; his daughter, Kimberly Pendergrast; his parents, Lena and Milton Pendergrast; and his siblings, Bobby Pendergrast, Charlie Pendergrast, and Judy Rushing. Cutshall Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 23, 2025, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen. Funeral services will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 23, 2025, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen, officiated by Dr. Leonard Joseph Pratt. Interment will be in Burnsville Cemetery. Memorials may be made in William’s honor to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. An online guestbook may be accessed at www.cutshallfuneralhome.com.
