William Perkins, 78, of Kingston, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Linda (Malonson) Perkins.

Beloved father of Robyn Hardy and husband John, of Plymouth and Melissa Coles and husband Jason, of Kingston. He is the Cherished Papa of Lindsy Butler-Hardy and husband Callum, Jillian Hardy, Drew Coles, Leah Coles and Avery Coles. He is also the son of the late Ernest and Marion (Otis) Perkins and the brother of the late Alan Perkins all of Woburn.

Bill was born in Boston and grew up in Woburn,MA and moved to Kingston in 1971 with his wife and young daughters. Bill worked as a tractor trailer driver and was a member of the Teamsters Union. Bill was also a member of the National Guard from 1965-1971.

Bill developed a passion for hockey and played as a youth in high school and as an adult. He also became a hockey referee for all age groups. Bill loved to travel, attend and watch Boston College football games, Bruins games, and Patriots games.

He loved spending summer weekends at Nauset and Sandy Neck beach. His grandkids loved spending time with him at "Papa's pool". Bill was a dedicated dog lover, sharing his life with 5 treasured dogs and many grand-dogs. Bill was happiest spending time with his family and friends, enjoying good food and having a few laughs.

Memorial visiting hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St. Kingston on Sunday, December 21st from 1:00 to 3:00pm with a service at the Shepherd Funeral Home at 3:00pm.

Will always remember Bill as a kind, loving, very funny man, and a great friend. Bill and my Bob forged a wonderful friendship. We loved our fun trips with Linda and Bill, and of course our day trips to Gillette Stadium. Will miss him greatly.
