William Richard Petrick

William (Bill) Raymond Petrick Bill passed away on May 15, 2014 and was born on April 25, 1923, in Almond, Wisconsin, to Anna and Walter Petrick. He was predeceased by his parents, 10 of his brothers and sisters, and his loving wife, Helen. Bill is survived by his sister, Patricia of Orland Park, IL, son, Michael (wife Lisa) of Las Vegas, Nevada, daughter, Debbie (husband Jerry) of Apple Valley, daughter, Annette (husband Dan) of Garden Grove, grandson, (Michael) of Las Vegas, NV, granddaughter, Marisa (husband, Gary) of Kent, WA; great granddaughter, Miya of Kent, WA: and many nieces and nephews. Bill was WWII Veteran of the United States Army serving his tour in California, Texas, Oklahoma and the Carolinas. Bill and Helen moved to California in 1951 and lived in Monterey Park for 25 years where their three children were born. They then lived in Hacienda Heights, Diamond Bar, and Chino Hills. Bill was a tool and die maker by trade but also enjoyed remodeling his many homes doing most of the work himself. In 1986, Bill and Helen retired and moved to Apple Valley. Helen died in 2000 and then Bill met Rita Campbell who also lost her husband about five years prior. Bill and Rita enjoyed each others company until Rita died in 2008. Bill was a wonderful husband, loving father, and a devote friend to many . He will truly be missed. Yesterday's goodbye is only tomorrow's hello. We'll miss you Dad! Services will be held at Our Lady of the Desert Church, 18386 Corwin Rd., Apple Valley. A visitation will be from 10-11 AM with the Mass at 11 :00 AM, with Father Charles Messler officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Hills Memorial Park, 24000 Waalew Road, Apple Valley, CA
