Sincere condolences to Bill's extended Families and many Friends.
Am personally very sad and will miss my friend.
Worked supporting Mr. Plank's Engineering Teams at PW during the F119 days. Afterwards, was fortunate to not only work with but got know Bill much more closely while at FTT. He was truly one of the most experienced, intelligent and articulate persons that I associated with. He had a unique "flair" of getting his point across!
Even though I never met his family members, I was blessed to hear about each of you during our numerous daily lunches..;..
Daughters, Sons, Grandchildren and the Ohio families.
He was very proud of all.
Bill, Am glad that I expressed it to you previously.. Thanks again for the education, experiences and most of all.. the laughs!!

First...condolences to the family. He was a first class person.
Bill and I go back to the early 1970's when we both worked in the turbine section of the J58. We contined turbine airfoil and turbine development work on the F100 and F119. Are paths also crossed on developing after market turbne airfoils after we both left P&W. John Elmore

Bill was my idol. He was "Mr Technology" at P&W. He helped solve many technical design, casting, and machining issues for many engine programs. He once said that young engineers are most dangerous after five years.
