William Presley Obituary
Joe was born December 24, 1931 in West Plains, MO to the late Rev. Leslie H. and Sadie M. Hull Presley. He married Ruth I. Attig on January 19, 1952 in Washington; she preceded him in death in 2023.
Surviving are their daughters, Diane (Gary) Ringenberg of Cary, NC and Stacey (Michael) Anderson of Germantown Hills; grandsons, David and Todd; and two great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by grandson, Grant; and his siblings, Howard, Jack, June, Linda, and Nora.
Joe was a conductor and brakeman on the T.P.&W. and Santa Fe Railroads for many years. In his retirement, he earned his HVAC certificate from ICC and enjoyed being able to help others with those skills. Over the years, he was member of Peoria Masonic Lodge #15, fostered many friendships, enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles, and attending Grace Presbyterian Church, Great Oaks Community Church and Christian Union Church.
His family would like to thank the staff of Snyder Village for the wonderful care Joe received over the years.
A graveside service will be at 3:00pm Thursday, November 6, 2025 at Glendale Cemetery in Washington. Pastor Chase Hill will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Snyder Village Resident in Need Fund.
