William E. Prince

William Eugene (Billy) Prince, 53, carpenter with Columbia Construction Company and resident of Williamsport Pike in the Sawdust Community, died Friday, November 10, 2006. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. Mark Jones officiating. Burial will be in Williamsport Baptist Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Chantel Prince Trust Fund at any branch of Bank of America. He was a 1971 graduate of Columbia Central High School and a member of Williamsport Baptist Church. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed woodworking. Survivors include a son, Terry Prince of Sawdust; a sister, Margaret Ann Riley of Columbia; a brother, Donnie (Rose) Prince of Mt. Pleasant; and a beloved granddaughter, Chantel Nicole Prince of Sawdust. Active pallbearers are Don Fly, Brian Pennington, Ricky Howell, Corey Prince, Mike A. Prince, Ray Prince, Jonathon Riley, and Jason Riley. Honorary pallbearers include employees of Columbia Construction.
