William "Bill" Andrew Pritula, Jr., a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on June 30, 2025, in Romulus, Michigan, at the age of 76.

Born on September 1, 1948, in Wyandotte, Michigan, Bill was the embodiment of a self-made man. With grit, determination, and sheer force of will, he built and ran multiple construction businesses from the ground up - not just companies, but a legacy that provided for his family and stood as a testament to his relentless work ethic. Retirement was never in his vocabulary. Bill found joy in staying busy - there was always work to do, and when that was done, there was farming, gardening, or finding clever ways to get his grandkids involved on the farm, just to have them near him.

Though stern and gruff on the surface, beneath that was a person willing to give his time and resources to help those in need. He was the kind of man who always "had a guy," someone to call, someone to help - and he was that someone for others. He gave advice freely, often with humor, hard-earned wisdom, and the intention of steering those he loved in the right direction.

Bill regularly attended the meetings and events of Jehovah's Witnesses.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Katherine Pritula, Sr., and siblings Christopher, Betty, Tony, Chrissy, and Elsie. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Denise Pritula, sisters Kathy Wood and Sandy Pritula, his children Leasa (Nick) Vorves, William (Carrie) Pritula III, Michael Pritula, and Ashley (Lee) Brown; grandchildren Katherine, William III, Nicky, Samantha, Ava, Hayden, Mason, and Aria; and great-grandson Noah.

Those who knew Bill saw firsthand the determination that shaped every part of his life. He'll be remembered for the calloused hands that built not only a business but the life he always wanted, always ready to hand you a tool, share his wisdom, and put you to work. He instilled in his children and grandchildren the value of hard work, teaching them, by example, that dedication, perseverance, and showing up every day matters. His life's work lives on in the people he touched, the family he built, and the countless projects he started and finished with pride.
