William E. "Bill" Puchstein, 72, of Frankfort, died on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at Adena Regional Medical Center. He was born on Wednesday, June 27, 1951, in Columbus, a son of the late Paul and Violet Steen Puchstein. On October 4, 1989, he married the former Roberta K. Starr, who survives.
In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by one son, Aaron (Patrice) Gibson of Charlotte NC, two grandchildren, Liam and Wyatt Gibson, and one sister, Paula (Dave) Stevenson of Hide-Away-Hills OH. He was preceded in death by one son, Adam Gibson, and one brother, John Puchstein.
Bill held a bachelor's degree in turf management. While Bill was in college, he played hockey for Ohio State. He worked as an antique show promoter and dealer. He was a member of the Austin United Methodist Church.
In keeping with Bill's wishes, cremation will take place. A memorial service will be held in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, at 1pm on Saturday, April 20, 2024. Friends are invited to visit with Bill's family from 11am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, Bill's family asks that memorial contributions be made in his memory to Concord Township EMS, PO Box 616, Frankfort, OH 45628
