The Pully Family:

Our deepest sympathy is extended to your family. I did not know until recently and feel very bad that I did not attend the visitation.

I did not know Bill very long although I ended up living close to him and must have crossed paths many times over the years. It was obvious that he was a complete gentleman, a genuine, loving person and a true friend to all he knew.

I enjoyed what little time I spent working with him with the Manchester Gang and other times I had the pleasure of associating with him.

May God Bless and Comfort you during this time of loss.

"Character is like a tree and reputation like a shadow. The shadow is what we think of it; the tree is the real thing." Abraham Lincoln

Inventive, caring, and a heart for others, Mr. Pully went out of his comfort zone to live like Christ. He will always be in my heart and mind. As I grew up in Bainbridge, he was there to demonstrate Christ-like qualities. I remember that he always wanted to sing in the church choir, but he was teased about his singing voice. I can imagine him now, rejoicing with the angels and singing to the top of his lungs. It's rare to find a man of such noble character and a true man of God, his "tree and shadow" will forever stand tall and strong in the hearts of those who knew him.

A mentor to so many. Mr. Pully was Bainbridge and Bainbridge was Mr. Pully. He taught us all the meaning of responsibility, accountability, and humility in doing God's work. His service and the service of those like him blessed us all.

Dear Bill Pully,

I love you very much! I remember you from when I was a child and when I became an adult. Thanks for being kind to me and my family.

Thank you for how you and Mrs Pully showed me Christ's love through your kindness to me and your smiles. I love and loved both of you very much! When Bainbridge closed I missed you very much!

I wish Bainbridge was still open and I could have seen you at least one more time here on earth. I do believe there is Heaven and you are there but this is still so sad. You will be missed here on this earth.
Thank you for all the great things you did and your love and devotion to God, to your wife and to Christ!

Love,
Beth
