William Donald Rader, 80, of Mineral Wells, passed away February 11, 2026 at the Eagle Pointe Healthcare Center. He was born December 27, 1945 in Parkersburg to the late Donald and Pearl Cain Rader.
William was a graduate from Parkersburg High School. He was employed at Wharton Auto Group where he retired after 42 years of service. He loved attending car shows and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his two sons, Chris Rader of Mineral Wells and Todd VanMeter (Trish) of Parkersburg. He had several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and three nieces.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce D. Cale Rader and two sisters, Joanne Wiggins (Gary) and Karen Canary (Richard).
At this time there will be no public services. The family requests in lieu of flowers, contributions be made directly to the funeral home to help cover his final expenses.
Lambert Tatman Funeral Home, South Parkersburg, has been entrusted with Williams final wishes, and are honored to serve his family.
