Naples - Mr. William Fred Radunz, Jr., 84, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at his home in Naples, Florida. He was the husband of the late Judy (Sanders) Radunz.

Bill was born June 11, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of the late William F. Radunz, Sr., and Maria (Rennon) Radunz. He graduated from Arlington High School in 1959 and proudly enlisted in the United States Navy in 1963.

Bill was a man of faith who cherished his family. His strong sense of community and commitment to charitable giving allowed him to assist and serve others throughout his life. An American Legion member for 28 years, Bill served as Commander, held several executive leadership positions, and participated on a variety of committees during his tenure. He was honored as the first recipient of the Department of Colorado's "Dual Member of the Year Award."

Bill valued hard work, friendship, and service to others. He enjoyed cooking for family and friends, as well as competitive sports. An avid bowler, he competed in numerous amateur and professional leagues and tournaments throughout his life. At the age of 19, Bill bowled the first 300-game ever recorded in the city of Chicago.

He also loved golf and was a long-time member of the Foothills Golf Club in Denver, Colorado, where he taught his sons to play. Later, he joined Quail Run Golf Club in Naples, Florida, where fellow members affectionately nicknamed him "ATM" for his tendency to win more than he lost. His life was filled with love, laughter, and the simple joys of time spent with those he cared for most.

He is survived by two sons, Robert W. Radunz and his wife Amber of Naples, and Richard W. Radunz and his wife Melynda, also of Naples; one sister, Marilynn Esposito and her husband John of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin; two grandchildren, Ande J. Dougherty and her husband John, and Avery J. Radunz and his fiancée Emma Jones; one great-grandson, Ryland Dougherty; and several nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Lisa M. Radunz.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Naples, Florida, in November.

Memorial contributions are suggested in Bill's name to The American Legion Post 178 1655 Simms St. Lakewood, CO 80215
