William Ramos (Willie), 65, of Albrightsville, passed away on Monday March 2, 2026, at Saint Luke's Hospital, Bartonsville. Beloved husband of Vivian (Goicuria) Ramos, they were married for almost 38 years. He was father to five children, Jaclyn Laura, Cathryn Mercedes, William Manuel Jr, Luis Miguel, and Nicholas Eric. Grandfather to Michael, Jailynn, Leilani, Charles, Anais, and Theodore.
He was born in The Bronx, New York, the son of Carlos and Raquel (Lugo) Ramos. Brother to Maria, Miriam, Carlos, Hector, and David. He was a resident of Monroe County since 2008 and prior to that, lived in The Bronx and Queens…Sorry Pennsylvania, his heart always belonged to New York and the Yankees.
In New York he was a mechanic and loved to volunteer at Public School 123 and Middle School 226Q. Stayed home with the kids so his wife could work…Took the kids to the bus stop, picked them up, and tried to help with their homework. He cooked and cleaned while I worked in New York.
He loved playing baseball/softball, helped fix cars for whoever needed it…Loved taking the kids to Florida for Walt Disney World and Universal…
He loved dancing to and "AS" Elvis Presley at family parties, and loved Barry Manilow. Of course, let’s not forget WWE. His favorite shows were MASH, The Andy Griffith Show, The Partridge Family, The Brady Bunch, and Gilligan’s Island. His favorite movies were all the Die Hard franchise and all of Lethal Weapon movies.
