William F. Rectenwald Sr. January 29, 2007 Bartlett Burdette Cox Funeral Home William F. �Bill� Rectenwald Sr., 86, of Charleston died Monday, January 29, 2007. Bill was a retired electrician with IBEW Local 466 with 60 years of service. He was a member of St. Anthony�s Catholic Church, where he received a lifetime achievement award. Bill was a Navy veteran having served on the USS Yorktown during WWII. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret; sister, Nancy Botkin; brother, James and granddaughter, Briegh. Bill is survived by his children, Elizabeth Dobbs of Dunbar, William F. Rectenwald Jr. of Teays Valley, Francis E. Rectenwald of Ripley, Timothy Rectenwald of Teays Valley and Mike Rectenwald of Tenn.; sisters, Francis A. Corns of Florida, Jean Naylor of St. Albans, and June Ann Linder of Charleston; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren. Services will be 11 AM, Friday, February 2, 2007 at St. Anthony�s Catholic Church with Father Dismas Young officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, So.Charleston. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, February 1, 2007 from 6 � 8 PM at Bartlett Burdette Cox Funeral Home. A Christian wake service will be held at 7:30 PM. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Bill�s name to HospiceCare � 1143 Dunbar Ave. � Dunbar, WV 25064. Envelopes will furnished by the funeral home.
