William "Phillip" RICKER

I only just learned of Phillips' death & I am so very sorry for your loss. He will be missed by many & I hope it will comfort you to know that others are thinking of you at this time. I will keep you & your family in my thoughts & prayers. I hadn't seen Phillip in many years, but I knew him as a child. He had a fun sense of humor & a very sweet smile. It's very hard to believe he's gone - much too soon.

I was surprise to hear about Slick Rick ,another name- Hollywood Ricker he was known as.We both Did radio together at WHCE ,I went by the name of The West Express. We shared many fun times together over at that station and at his house.We ran together on the track and cross country teams over the years at Varina High School. We made it threw the class of 1983.Ricker was a friend of mine who taught me to loosen up and take chances in life and have another cold one .I will always remember that grind he showed on his face .He always had that smile of -"Hey its going to be ok" One hates to hear about something like this happening .I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers and so long my old DJ freind of the class of 83

I knew that he loved you both very very much.Ricker was like an uncle to me, he was always over here, laughing, jokeing,talking politics,the race or talking about fishing with my dad.Ive know him all 19 yrs of my life from the time I was a little kid. I used to hang out with Phillip ever now and again.I never heard him say a bad word against any one.I have not seenn him in years ,but i know he was still my freind.GOD BLESS THE FAMILY AND FREINDS.He will be deeply missed.

Dear Michelle and Brittney, I know and feel your pain. I also know there are no words that make the pain go away now, BUT time does help in healing and your memories can never be taken away. We serve a loving God and He will comfort and guide you. I enjoyed knowing and working with Phil for 3 years and considered him a friend. We had many conversations and I know of his great love for his family and for God! The last time we talked was after we both left the Deans and he sounded better than ever.
