Add memories that will last forever

Not sure what to say?

April 16, 2018

It was a extreme pleasure to have known Mr Bill he was a character from a forgotten era. His Legacy of homemade pimento cheese will always be in my thoughts of him and his snaggletooth smile.

Listening to his tunes through headset! He was too funny!

To Bobby, Eddie, Robin, Becky and all of the Riggs family. We are so sorry to hear about your dad. What a sweetheart he was. I always enjoyed being around him so much. He sure enjoyed being busy, guess that is how you make 95, keep moving.I still have unmailed cards for you about Tommy who you know I loved very much and who was a faithful customer of Giggy's. We were out of town when Tommy's passing happened. This time I was incapaticated by a wreck which was so dumb on my part. It only involved me and a copen, pipe, whatever at night but I needed help from
Giggy to do everything, I am so sorry we missed both of these funerals of two special people. Raleys' Cafeteria, what a great place. Take care all you, sincere sympathy and much love always. Love Linda and Giggy He is back with your sweet mom Sara.

Here's to a fine Charlestonian, well remembered by my family. Billy was a King Street institution.

My dearest Bobby and Eddie,

My heart just aches for you as you grieve the loss of your dad. I hope you can find strength and comfort in remembering not only that he has passed, but that he LIVED! And that he will continue to live through each of your hearts. Oh, how he was so very proud of his boys. I watched him count Tommy, Bobby, and Eddie on his fingers every morning, afternoon, and night for the past three years. Nothing else mattered to him. His whole world revolved around his boys! And rightfully so. You have taken such good care of your dad. As a caregiver, I wish all elderly had the same kind of loving family Bill had. It's been a long road but you were always right there ensuring that he had the best possible life he could have and that all of his needs and wishes were taken care of. You must know how special you were and how much your dad loved and appreciated you. His death didn't really take him away, because in your hearts and the hearts of the people he inspired, his legacy remains and will continue throughout generations. Bill was a great father, grandfather, friend, and teacher to many.

I am deeply honored and blessed to have known Bill. He truly was a blessing in my life and I too will forever carry him in my heart for the rest of my life. Bill taught me so many things about life in general. He taught me how to love and appreciate every moment of every day. He taught me how to laugh those big belly laughs, the ones that really tickle your innards! He taught me how to make the best pimento cheese ever! Most importantly, he taught me to never take anything for granted and to make everyday a great one! No matter what kind of day he was having, when we asked him how he felt, he would always say just like I look, gorgeous! And gorgeous he was! Both inside and out! Everyone deserves a Bill! And I thank you for sharing him with me and my family.

I guess I'll work on getting "a wiggle in my waddle" back now.

Love you!

Diana
