I remember so many things about my Uncle Bill. Always happy, dancing to his country music. I can say much more, a good hard working man. He gave his beautiful wife Doris and is son Eric a wonderful life. He will be missed immensely.
Doris, all I can say is that you we're a great wife to Bill. I love and miss you both. Bill was a stupendous man, and you we're a great and wonderful wife.
Call me if you want to talk. I love you Auntie Doris and would love to talk to you.
Cara (my number is 302-223-8241).

Pat & I extend or deepest condolences to Doris, Eric and family.
Bill, you were a mentor to many and a friend to all that had the pleasure of knowing you. I appreciate your leadership and I will remember the countless stories of your adventures throughout your career. You are indeed a "Legend" and there will never be another like you. You will be missed but never forgotten. A true gentleman & friend (and Pat just added "and a great dancer"). God Bless........

Bill's legacy not only remains in our hearts as friends family and colleagues but also what he accomplished in his career affecting countless lives because of what he achieved building power plants and railroads around the country improving the well being of so many people that will never know the debt they owe to Bill.
God bless the Rittershaus family and Doris in particular in your hour of grief.

What words can be said to capture Bill in a just a few sentences. For me he was a dear friend and mentor who critized me for taking him to projects that "Joe Joe put stains on my otherwise stellar career"!!! He was someone I always tried to emulate in the way he treated and motivated his staff. He was truly "The Legend", a person I can honestly say I never heard a bad word said of him.
God Bless You.
