To Bill's family; Expressing my sympathy for your loss. Down Memory Lane I had the pleasure to get to know a fine individual in him. Only knowing of him in our Bishop McDevitt Days through his Brother John; (A Classmate of mine) and then later, surprisingly this young fellow flew into Bangor, Me. and landed at Dow AFB, to serve a tour of Duty alongside of me. I was just a few months short of completing my Four Years as a Security Policeman in 1968 up in the Boon Docks of Ole Maine. We lived in the same Barracks together and worked on the line together and talked several times on how things were, back in the Harrisburg Area, especially our Alma Mater; at McDevitt. He will be missed, but not forgotten. My Brother Mike, (Bill's classmate;) and myself will keep him in our thoughts & prayers. Extending Blessings from Above to all of you, his loved ones. God Bless!!

I would just like to offer my condolences to Bill's family and loved ones. Bill was a friend of mine and we had some good times together. I worked with Bill for several years at Faulkner and he was old school and a class act. He was a snappy dresser and enjoyed the finer things in life. We had many laughs together and we kept in touch over the years, though not as much as I would have liked. He will be missed.

To The Family of Bill H. Rively;

We may not have seen Bill as often as we'd like but the times we shared were always full of laughter, memories and long talks. We shared a common family history after all as we exchanged memories of John and Bess.

Bill would always talk about "his girls" & bring us up to date on both Janel and Jennys families. He was very proud of both girls and especially proud that he was a grandfather to Tyler, Chase, Morgan and Camryn.

To know Bill was to hear about all the positives in his life, he didn't seem to dwell on things he couldn't change. We all looked forward to seeing Uncle Bill on our horizons and it's hard to fathom that he no longer is in our world!

Our thoughts and prayers are with Janel and Jennifer especially during this sad, sad time. May they and we who also loved him hold his memory tightly and remember the good times all the days of our lives!

Sorry to hear of the passing of William H Rively. My best wishes to Bill and his family. Celebrate his life and the memories he left us. Wish I could be there tomorrow. Wish you all well. Here are a few memories to share.

I worked for Bill at AMP in the early 1980s. Back then his daughters, Janel & Jennifer, were little girls with giggles, big smiles, and freckles. They were happy little kids. Today I hear they are career gals with children of their own. I have known Bill for over 30 years and much of my adult life. I was 24 years old when Bill, told me there was no room in Minnesota for another sales engineer. Four days later he was trying to hire me and wanted me to move to MN from New York. That was the start of our friendship and work for AMP(Tyco purchased).

Bill Rively was moved to Dallas to cover the AMP military market for the central USA. I was asked to move to St. Louis to help design and build jet fighter air craft with McDonnell Douglas & Emerson Space. Updating man machine interface, heads up display, touch screens, emp protection, and build for the F15, F18, and AV8B. These jet fighters are still protecting America today. Bill supported my needs for these customers and both McDonnell Douglas and Emerson Space told us this was the best sales engineer experience of all their vendors ever. What an honor! The guy telling us this was old and gray.

I was with Bill Rively when he met his second wife, Mary Haugen. Mary had two young girls, Malia & Mara, they were all smiles and giggles too, happy kids. AMP transferred Bill & Mary to Dallas TX for his new military market. Mary still lives in Dallas, TX. Bill & Mary are divorced.

Bill Rively and I had another Dallas Connection. My brother worked for the Dallas Cowboys as a coach. We took Bill to a few games with passes to the owner's suite. I was on the field of play a few times and cannot recall if Bill was on the field, but was most likely. It was a very cool time in my life too. What an honor to meet the owners, coaches, players, and what a place for football. Everybody in Dallas and TX loves the COWBOYS. America's Team. Bill loved these times at Cowboy Stadium.

My best wishes & memories to the family,

Bill was a friend of mine as well as a fellow sales person I met him in 2003 at Faulkner Pontiac when I became the New Car Sales manager, we worked their together for about 3 years, his work ethic and drive helped us to bond immediately. We recently joined up together for one last time at East Shore Auto for a very short stint, he will be missed for his laughter and love of his Dallas Cowboys, and he will be remembered for his famous line "down he goes"
Bill you will be missed my friend.

My Uncle Bill was a good man, he was funny, and he could be quite charming.
My last memory of him will stay with me forever. He was down for a visit with his brother, my dad, (John "Jack" Rively) Uncle Bill pulled me aside and told me what wonderful care I was taking of my parents, and how huge my heart was and that he was proud of me. I am so honored to have that be my last memory of him.
To: Janel and Jennifer, my heart goes out to you both and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your beautiful families during this time of grief.
Love always Shanon, Michael and Jordan
