William Kevin Robb, 65, of Ellis, Kansas ~ July 12, 1958 - November 26, 2023

William "Bill" Robb passed away peacefully on November 26th, 2023 at his home, surrounded by his sons, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
He was born July 12, 1958 in Lindsborg Kansas to John S. and Dorothy I.(Gunn) Robb of Falun, Kansas, the youngest of six children, two sisters and three brothers. Bill attended Smoky Valley High School in Lindsborg, KS and then enlisted in the United States Army, where he served proudly as a Combat Medic for the First Infantry Division (Big Red One) then later attended Fort Hays State University with a major in History. He was the former owner of Forgotton Cotton Creations in Ellis where he displayed and sold his unique folk art of caricatures made of dead cottonwood. He enjoyed spending time with his family and he discovered a passion for fly-fishing, which fell right in line with his love for the Rocky Mountains and fishing the mountain streams of Colorado. He was a faithful and devoted follower for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Kansas State Wildcats and Kansas City Chiefs, being of Irish Descent, watching Notre Dame football was more of a religion than a sport.
He is survived by sons Kerry Robb of Ellis, KS, Kevin Robb of Denver, CO, Kelly Robb (Josie) Of Ellis, KS, his "Special, best buddy" Grandson Ashur, Two Sisters, Bonnie Merriman of Assaria, KS; Beth (Gary) Sager of Salina, KS; Two Brothers, Jim (Marilyn) Robb of Salina, KS; Dave (Nesha) Robb of Salina, KS; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and many life-long friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother John "Buster" M. Robb, nieces Christie Merriman-Breault and Laurie (Merriman) Schmidt; nephews Shawn Robb and John David Robb; and brother-in-law, Larry Merriman.
To honor Bill's Memory, and his wishes, his family will host a celebration of life service in Falun, KS at the Falun Lutheran Church on Saturday, December 2nd, 2023 at 11:00 AM, where a luncheon will follow.
His sons will make a pilgrimage to Colorado in the following year to reflect on the amazing memories made on numerous family vacations and to fulfill a promise made to their dad. A private family inurnment with military honors will be held in Ellis, KS. There will be no public visitation or viewing.
